First Property Project

How I started.

An Old Victorian House

As I sit here now looking through the project I've completed, I just can't believe how well I have done on my own. At the start of this journey I had everything planned out. I was determined to succeed. My life was pretty hectic; having to look after my young daughter totally on my own, juggle my finances and work on this much-needed first property. Everyday I would head down to local DIY and trade warehouses to check out all the best prices. There was never a dull day!

Pretty soon I found the perfect team for the first property. I have my Builder, Electrician, Gas man, Carpenter and Decorator. Also me, as I can decorate, tile even knock down walls! I was able to get cheap quotes and  prices that fit into my budget of £10-15,000, and because of my excellent bargain-hunting skills, it cost me over £12,000 to renovate which included re wire plus a new pipes and radiators, combi central heating system. The whole large size Victorian House!

After I sold the property I was determined to find my second project. It may have gone of to a bumpy start at first but as the saying goes; "Where there's a will there's a way"

In my next post I will continue the story of my second property and how I turned it from a un livable complete state into a home. Keep a look out for it! I will be updating soon!
